Below is how we use Magnesium Products
SOAP: create a protective layer on the skin. It's also a humectant , which means that it attracts and binds water. Both of these qualities can help the skin stay hydrated. By making beeswax into a lotion bar, it can work double-duty to keep your skin soft and hydrated.
LOTION: 1 teaspoon of magnesium lotion can be applied to any part of the body, particularly the soles of the feet, or areas where you are experiencing muscle aches or pains – such as the lower back, feet, legs, neck or shoulders. You can also mix this lotion with a few drops of carrier oil, like sweet almond or coconut, to make a soothing massage oil. Allow the lotion to stay on your skin for at least 20 to 30 minutes (although longer is fine) as transdermal magnesium requires this length of time for absorption.
SPRAY: Target specific areas where you may be experiencing muscle tension, discomfort, or cramps. Common application areas include the legs, arms, abdomen, and back. For quicker absorption regarding systemic benefits, find pulse points like inner wrist, neck, or feet. Magnesium sprays are a quick and effective way to replenish your magnesium levels. They are used for relaxation and muscle relief among many other applications. This is incredibly effective as the magnesium goes straight through to your blood vessels and muscles rather than having to be absorbed by your digestive system.
BATH SOAK:
- Full Body Bath: Pour magnesium flakes directly into your warm bathwater. This allows your whole body to absorb the magnesium while you relax in the tub.
- Foot Soak: Fill a container with warm water (large enough for your feet) and add 1-2 handfuls of magnesium flakes. Soak your feet for about 20 minutes or until the water cools down2. Another guide suggests soaking your feet for 30 minutes or until the water starts to cool down.
Foot Basin Soak: Dissolve 2 to 3 handfuls of magnesium flakes in a clean foot basin of warm water. Soak your feet for at least 20 to 30 minutes for optimal benefits.
KIDS: The best product for small children is our Magnesium Chloride Spray because it goes on light for a lower dose.

Magnesium has a reputation for improving sleep, and it does. It helps relax nerves and muscles and triggers melatonin, the sleep hormone, under low light conditions. Rub transdermal magnesium into their skin in the morning, afternoon or at night. It won’t make them sleepy, but it will help them to feel more relaxed, less tense, and have a steadier, healthier energy level. When you’re first getting started, try using lower doses two or more times a day. This will allow their little bodies to make optimal use of the mineral.
