Rosemary & Olive Oil Shampoo Bar for Curly Hair
This shampoo soap bar is made for people that have Curly hair.
They are packed with essential oils and other fresh/natural ingredients and chemical free. This is a great product as it ensures less build-up, shinier, and healthier hair. Also, it is great for travelling.
Ingredients used and their benefits:
Glycerine soap base: is made with natural vegetable skin care oils, oat protein and 20% Vegetable Glycerin, making this soap both soothing and cleansing and gives a creamy lather for the skin.
Olive Oil: has deep moisturizing and nourishing properties. This oil is high in lauric, myristic, and palmitic acids which will produce a hard, cleansing bar with a full lather.
Castile soap: is is made from safe, simple plant oils, it is considered safe for even the most sensitive skin types. The oils found in castile soap penetrate pores with their antibacterial agents, helping clean your skin without drying it out.
Vitamin E: calms nourishes and hydrates sensitive skin. Acts as a moisturizer.
Essential oil: Rosemary has antiseptic properties, and it has rejuvenating effect that makes this a popular ingredient in soaps.
Step 1: Wet Hair
Hop in the shower and wet hair as usual. The wetter the better!
Step 2: Apply shampoo bar
Hold the shampoo bar in the palm of one hand and apply it directly to your head, starting at your scalp near your forehead. Work the bar in small circular motions back towards the base of your neck to create a gentle lather. Swipe the bar along the sides of your head, by your ears, to apply the shampoo evenly. Also, apply the bar to the back of your head using small circular motions, getting enough product on the underside of your hair.
Step 3: Lather up shampoo bar
Put shampoo bar down on our soap saver, using your fingers, work the lather through the roots of your hair with a massaging motion. Run your hands down the length of your hair to cleanse from your scalp to the tips of your locks.
Step 4: Rinse shampoo bar
Ensure you rinse your hair well under running water to remove all traces of the shampoo.
Step 5: Repeat as necessary
For particularly greasy or dirty hair, or if you just want an extra deep clean, repeat steps 1 through 4 to ensure you have removed all traces of build up!
Step 6: Apply one of our conditioner bars
Our conditioner bars are water-activated, ensure it is wet before apply. Pick up the conditioner bar and hold it in the palm of one hand. Run the bar along your hair starting from your temple back towards the nape of your neck ensuring you cover your hair from ear to ear. Also, work the conditioner bar in circular motions at the back of your head. Pull hair over one shoulder, hold in one hand and use the other hand to run the conditioner bar down the length of your hair, focusing on the ends. Massage hair from root to tip to work product into strands. Leave conditioner on hair for 1-2 minutes for maximum effectiveness.
Step 7: Rinse conditioner bar
Put your conditioner bar on our soap saver, then put your head under running water and run hands through hair. At this time, you should feel the moistuirizing affects of the conditioner in your hair.
Step 8: Repeat as necessary
Repeat steps 6 and 7 as necessary to ensure you have adequately conditioned the hair.
Step 9: Brush hair
When hair is damp dry, gently brush hair. If you feel your hair is still a bit tangly, you can wet hands and use a bit of extra conditioner bar, as a leave in conditioner.
